New Brick Wall Construction – Oving, Buckinghamshire

We recently built a new brick wall in Oving, Buckinghamshire. The project involved carefully rebuilding an old wall surrounding a chapel that had fallen into need of extensive repairs.

The project began with the dismantling of the existing wall to preserve as many of the original materials as possible.

We reclaimed a large number of the existing bricks, which were then combined with new matching bricks during the rebuild to maintain the character and appearance of the structure while ensuring long-term durability.

The wall was rebuilt using traditional lime mortar to remain in keeping with the age and style of the chapel. Half round bricks were also installed around the back of the wall to complete the finish and retain the traditional detailing.

The finished result is a strong, carefully restored wall that preserves the original character of the chapel while providing lasting structural integrity.
